Michole Briana White
Michole Briana White is a seasoned vet in film, theatre, television and commercials. She currently stars in the STARZ hit series BLACK MAFIA FAMILY and is proud to be in the final season of ATLANTA Episode 4, “LightSkinned-ed” for FX. She starred in James Wan’s film MALIGNANT, now streaming on multiple platforms, as well as the Gotham Award winning web series THE STRANGE EYES OF DR. MYES and is co-creator of its upcoming sequel.
She was recently seen on Dick Wolf’s FBI International for CBS, Michael Bay’s SONGBIRD, and can be seen in the soon to be released film Baby Blue directed by Adam Mason. Michole has recurred on Amazon's last season of GOLIATH, Netflix’s DEAD TO ME and Dr. Dre’s VITAL SIGNS, to name a few. She is a singer/songwriter and licenses her music for film and television.
She has performed with the LA Philharmonic at Disney Concert Hall and her vocals were featured on the Daytime Emmy Awards. Michole worked with Sydney Lumet on 100 CENTER STREET, Spike Lee on 25th HOUR and SHE HATE ME, and starred in Ava Duvernay’s first feature I WILL FOLLOW.
Some of Michole’s theatrical credits include the original Off Broadway production of August Wilson’s JITNEY, his RADIO GOLF at The Goodman Theatre and The Kennedy Center, Susan Lori-Parks FU*KING A at The NY Public Theatre and the musical WHEN JAZZ HAD THE BLUES, playing the iconic role of Lena Horne. She’s also been seen in a myriad of commercials including the long running Geico Campaign.
Michole has been the recipient of the Obie, Ovation, NAACP, Audelco and Drama Critics Circle Awards.
A seasoned vet to the world of theatre, film, television and commercials, some of Ms. White’s latest credits include:
- The new dark, semi-autobiographical Apple TV Series Vital Signs as a recurring role, starring Dr. Dre.
- Lush Life the play carrying lead role of the iconic Ms. Lena Horne November 18th-December 18th 2016 at The Matrix Theatre Los Angeles 7657 Melrose Ave. 90046
- Black Mafia Family, Starz
- The Kicks Season 1, Amazon TV
- Lila and Eve starring Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez. Supporting Lead.
- The Strange Eyes of Dr. Myes film with lead role of Dr. Myes. The web series of the Strange Eyes of Dr. Myes will be launched late 2016. She is currently co-writing Season 2 with director/writer Nancy Andrews.
- Only Light USC short film directed by Evita Castine.
- TV One’s Love that Girl as recurring love interest to Phillip Morris.
BET’s Reed Between the Lines as a series regular playing best friend to Malcolm Jamal Warner and Tony Rock.
Her original song Breaking the Cycle aired episode 6. She later self produced her own music video now on Youtube: CLICK HERE.
Her vocals were also featured in the title song of Reed Between the Lines with music by award winning television composer Kurt Farquhar. She is currently writing music and singing for his company, True Music.
Ms. White was a lead in Ava Duvernay’s first groundbreaking feature I Will Follow with Blair Underwood and Sallie Richardson-Whitfield, now on DVD and Netflix as well as Faster directed by George Tillman with Dwayne Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton.

Ms. White was a featured vocalist on the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards/music by Ken Shapiro and John Ross.
She recently completed the production of her original music single FOLLOW with music producer and guitarist Nils Jiptner (Nominated Best Guitarist for the American Smooth Jazz Awards) release date TBA.
